One Amazing Season!

Wow, that is all I can say about the season the New Orleans Saints just had. Last year we were 3-13, last in the division, and looking to move to San Antonio, but one season changed not only a team but a city. Many people around the US will never see the change the Saints brought to the City, because it is not externally but internally. The New Orleans Saints made a larger impact in rebuilding this city than any other person, group, company, or government. The Saints did not rebuild all the houses in the city or repair the levees to stop a hurricane, but they did rebuilt a city's spirts, and stood as an example of sucess when all around you looks like failure. People questioned whether the city should spend the money on repairing the dome when homes and neiborhoods still need to be rebuilt, but what those people didn't understand is the Saints brought millions of dollars back into the city with each game. The Saints also brought individuals from all across the county that had evacuated to other cities back to New Orleans for games and gave them more motivation to come back to the city. People will never understand the full impact of the Saints season because unless you lived under the depression of Katrina, you will never understand the exterme happiness the Saints brought to the city. The team reenergized a city and stood for all to see around the United States and say with one voice to all those who said New Orleans should not be rebuilt, that New Orleans will not come back, and that New Orleans can not support a sports franchise to "KISS OUR ASS!!!" Super XLII here we come!

Traitor

" I knew it was you Saban! You broke my heart!" - Kurt Valvis.
"My word is stronger than oak." - Jerry Maguire
"I will not take the Alabama Head Coaching job." - Nick Saban

Nick Saban said for weeks that we was not going to take the Alabama job, and when asked about the job he got upset and reinforced to everyone that he was not going to Alabama! Wrong. Wrong. Liar! He did take the job at Alabama becaue he said he missed the college game. WHAT? You left LSU because you wanted to compete on the highest level, but when time got tough he bolted. How can any recuit believe anything he says and how does any recuit trust that he will be coaching at his school or bolting for a better job or more money? He is a job jumper and always will be. If he thought LSU was tough on him or Miami was tough just wait for Alabama. Alabama isn't like LSU where LSU is the only option for top recuits to go to play football in that state, and who can't wait for Les Miles to really surpass Saban shadow by not only beating him with his former team, but also winning a national championship before Saban. Alabama fans will not like paying 4 million a year for a coach to come in third in sec behind LSU, his former team, and Auburn his arch enemy. Or what will happen when he has a losing season, and even if he does win he won't be the godfather of Alabama because that is bear bryant! Saban was the Bear Bryant at LSU but he threw it away to go to the NFL. There was another coach that was a god at Florida and threw it away to go to the NFL and upon return to college not only lost to his former team this year, but his former team is playing in the National Championship game. Saban will fail at Alabama and I will be first in line to laugh at him. I was a supporter of Saban, but what Saban did is unacceptable. He QUIT! I don't care what people say about his family or college. HE QUIT! I am still thankful for what he did to the LSU program but now he will be working to break down all that he had built. Saban, I am sorry but you are a quiter and a liar, and I can no longer be a supporter.
