I'm Back
I know. I know. I said the previous post was my last but I have had a change of heart because too much has happen to LSU and the Saints to sit back and not say anything. Though I will have less hits or people reading my post does not mean I will stop with my writing. So lets start with LSU:
Ok so my tigers did not make even a regional for baseball this which is understandable because they were really bad year. Smoke is out and now is the scramble to find a new head coach. I hope LSU quickly figures out that it is not always the coach but recruiting that wins games. Our facilities or not top notch, and building a new ballpark should not be the end.
As for football, I could not be more excited about the year coming but especially to see who wins the starting position. Whoever wins though will have a tough time with a rough road schedule this year. Alley Brousard should bring excitement to our offense, and wide receiver Corp should improve if X-factor can catch as well as he can run (congratulations to Carter for dominating the Track and field events).
Saints:
All I am going to say if Reggie Bush! We have a horrible defense but if Sean Payton doesn't put deuce and Bush in the same backfield then I am going to throw everything at the T.V. I like Sean Payton except his inability to pick up contributing defensive players. I am excited and can't wait to see what they bring to the table this year. One final question, "How did Hasslet get to draft a cornerback in the first round as defensive coordinator for the rams but as head coach of the saints we never got a cornerback first round?"
That is it for now but more to follow....
