Relax

The other day somebody came up to me and told me the best...Wait most timely advice I think I have had in a while. I have thought about it for the past few days. It wasn't Home Improvement Wilson kind of advice but more like a common advice but it struck a chord. I was sitting at work thinking about all the work ahead of me in the day and a guy comes up and says, "you ok?" I quickly responded, "yeah, I'm just thinking about all the things I have to do today and how little time I have." He looks at me and with this Matthew McConaughey smile says, "Hey forget it. Don't let life bring you down. Keep your head up." I told the guy thanks and never forgot what he had said. I mean he was right on with forgetting about it. I should not stress about little things right now and let things come to me. I quickly realized that I have been stressing to much lately on things I could not control. Girls, work, school, future plans, rebuilding, parents, seeing friends, etc. has stress me too much and now I am going to relax, forget about it, and keep my head up.

By the way Rosa Parks died recently who was maybe the most influential women of our time. I only hope someday I could make an impact as she has to this world.

Forgutahboutit!!! Don't stress out too much. Too young to be worrying about shit you have no control over. Someone asked me the other day how the job search was going, I said "what job search?"

There must be quite a few things that a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them. ~Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar

Good ole - Slyvia Plath knew what she was talking about - Don't stress (im being hypocritical right now - at this very moment), Carpe Diem! Enjoy life to the fullest -
and the final quote from non other than frankie goes to hollywood - from zoolander to you. . . here it is RELAX. .
(partially edited b/c the lyrics suck!)
Live those dreams
Scheme those schemes

Relax don't do it
When you want to go to it
Relax don't do it
When you want to come

wow, we have references to sylvia plath here on your blog.

did someone forget to mention that she killed herself? apparently, she forgot to relax.

okay...so that wasn't really funny, but i had to go for the inappropriate joke. i love sylvia plath, in fact, i want to have her pyscho babies. damn ted hughes and his bad poetry and and and him being scandalous.
