No Nine to Five

I am finally back in New Orleans after my car got broken into, 33 hours of driving, and meeting of old friends I am finally back in New Orleans. I realize leaving that was a lot of work but I didn't realize how much work needs to be done. Every morning I wake up to the realization that I have at least eight hours of backbreaking work ahead. After work, tired and beaten, I usually get a car from a number of friends and family looking for an extra hand for work. I sometimes work all day, but I am with family. My buddy, Rob, has help out most of my family and my friends with no obligations but a kind heart. Most days I feel completly drained and depressed, but Rob will make a coment or say something to cheer me up and I get by. Days go by hour by hour and chore by chore. You work and work and work because that what people need even when your hand look like they have fought with a knive, or your back feel like someone has been beating it with a baseball bat. You go on and you work because people need you. Most people have been so drained of work and this places that my fresh face and stories of the west get them to forget about their home being flooded or their job being gone. Nothing can explain New Orleans but driving through the city and experencing it yourself. I am emotionally, physically, and mentally drained and I have only been here four days!

what's worse is that the saints suck, and we have nothing to look forward to on Sundays. Looks like I am going to have to become a Chargers fan. Just kidding. Duece is out, Aaron should be out, Haslett is definitely out, and right now I'm out of my mind for even rooting this team on anymore. Take care. Don't work so hard, start taking some Uncle Mike breaks for an hour or so.
